The films, images, texts and course materials on this site belong to their author. Course materials are freely available for personal use; reusing them in a workshop, a course or a publication requires written permission.
Personal data
The contact form sends the name, email address, subject and message to the studio’s mailbox, for one purpose only: replying. The data controller is the site’s publisher, and this processing rests on the legitimate interest of answering whoever writes in. The data is never sold, passed on or used for marketing. The site itself keeps none of it: a message only passes through.
An exchange is kept for as long as the conversation lasts, then for three years at most after the last message. Anyone can ask to access, correct or delete what concerns them, or object to it being kept, by writing to the publisher — and, failing a satisfactory answer, lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
The site is served by a host based in the United States: pages and messages go through its servers. This transfer is covered by the safeguards the host applies to data coming from Europe, as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires.
Audience analytics
The site counts its visits with its host’s analytics tool, without cookies and without following anyone from one site to another: all that remains are anonymous totals — pages viewed, country, type of device.
Cookies and outside services
This site sets no cookies. Only the host may set one, a purely technical one, if it has to check that a visitor is not a robot. The site only keeps a few things in the browser so you can carry on where you left off — the language you chose, the draft of a message not yet sent, what you have already seen (the opening screen, the robot’s gauge) — and none of it leaves your device.
Fonts, icons and images are served by the site itself. Films play from YouTube, in privacy-enhanced mode, and only once one has been clicked: YouTube’s own rules then apply.
